Alkaline Spelt Bread Recipe


4 1/2 cups Spelt Flour

2 teaspoons Sea Salt

1 3/4 - 2 cups Plain Sparkling Water (we use Mountain Valley Sparkling Water)

1/4 cup Agave

How to Make

1. Mix spelt flour and salt in a large bowl.

2. Add sparkling water a little at a time and mix until a dough is formed. 

3. Add agave.

4. Mix ingredients until well blended - do not over mix.

5. Pour dough into a non-stick loaf pan. 

6. Let dough rest in the pan for 1 hour - cover with kitchen towel.

7. Preheat oven to 200 degrees, bake for 4-5 hours.

8. Cool, carefully remove loaf from pan, cut and serve.
